The New Year is steadily approaching again, and it seems like the past year went way too fast. All of the things I wanted to accomplish last year, still remain, yet to be done. It's all right though, because there is always next year, right? Every year, as my family sits at home and watches Direct TV satellite Specials, we always wait in anticipation for the ball to drop; ringing in the new year.
This year is no exception, especially with all the cold weather and severe storms on the eastern coast this year. Why go to New York City and freeze to death, when we can stay warm and cozy at home?! The best part about watching from home is, it seems like every channel has the big year-end count down airing on New Year's Eve. There's so many stars that appear at the ball dropping ceremony too, like Joan Rivers! Man, she still looks the same after all of these years! Kinda scary, if you think about it.
So once again, as New Years rolls up around the bend, my family and I, will be watching the ball drop together like we always do. It's our favorite New Years program! Maybe one day, we'll actually make it to the real event, but only if it happens to be summer weather!
