Here's how to know when to let your makeup go...
MASCARA AND LIQUID LINER
Time to Toss: 6 months (less if you use daily)
These wet tubes are the ideal breeding ground for bacteria.
LIQUID FOUNDATION
Time to Toss: 6 months
Look for the ingredients to separate (oils rise to the top) or a change in color or consistency.
POWDERS
Time to Toss: 12 to 18 months
Powders last awhile, but with age they can crumble and become hard to blend.
EYE AND LIP PENCILS
Time to Toss: 2 years
Sharpening you pencil lines every two weeks will help them stay fresh and clean.
LIPSTICK AND GLOSS
Time to Toss: 18 months to 2 years
Notice an off smell or taste? Trash it.
Oh by the way, I bought lots of makeup yesterday from Walmart and will share my loot as soon as my camera is fully charged. ;)
