Preventing the Spread of Microbes

Did you know that the coating for antimicrobial hand wheels can last 7-15 years depending on the cleaning method applied? I didn't know that as well until today. Thanks to my geeky friend for pointing that out. We were at the mall restroom when she shared that tidbit of information to me. According to her, it's more hygienic to put antimicrobial hand wheels to the doors instead of those knobs to prevent germs from spreading. Well, she has a point but I guess it will take a lot of convincing to make it happen.
