Make your pout look even more irresistible and picture-perfect with these easy tips from Cosmo Mag Philippines.
1. Brighten dark pigmentation. For a natural look, slick on an iridescent gloss. The rainbow effect helps reflect light, making lips look brighter. Try The Body Shop’s Winter Trend Collection Love Gloss lip gloss in Pink Sparkle, P695.
2. Prevent color from feathering. Apply a colorless liner right outside your lips to keep gloss and lipstick from feathering.
3. Plump up your mouth. Get a lip balm packed with vitamin E and collagen-stimulating ingredients that fill up lips and moisturize them.
4. Nix dry, flaky lips. Rub a pinch of sugar and lip balm onto your lips for a mini-scrub session.

Things You'll Need: Lip Liner, Lipstick, Lip Gloss
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Pick out your favorite color lip liner, lipstick or lip gloss. You can pick out your lipstick colors to enhance your skin tone. Winter (fair) skin tones, look fabulous with cool colors (pinks, corals, peaches). Autumn skin tones have a bit more versatility and can go with the cool colors as well as roses and berries. Darker tones look great with the deep purples and browns.
2. For purposes of the pouty look, I suggest picking a lip liner color that is a slightly darker than your lipstick.
3. With the lip liner, line the outside of your lips. In the corners of your lips, feather out the lip liner towards the center of your lip. Try to let the shape of your lip determine where the lip liner is going to end.
4. Put lipstick on as you normally would. Press lips together to blend liner and lipstick.
5. Finally, top off with your favorite lip gloss. Now you are ready to pucker up!

Every season there is a new look and trend, Fall is an especially wonderful time for the new looks in makeup. The Fall 2009 makeup looks will prove to be especially dynamic and bold, deep rich colors will be the look of the Fall season.
Finding your best Fall makeup looks will depend on your personality and preferences but the following top 10 Fall Makeup Tips can be used as a guide so that you put your best face forward.
Mineral Makeup
Natural, nude makeup is the one of the hottest makeup products of the season. One of my favorite brands of Mineral makeup comes from MaryKay cosmetics, I use the mineral makeup on a daily basis and love it. I chose the MaryKay mineral makeup because I was able to get an exact match with my skin tone with the help of my MaryKay consultant. I also really like the makeup brush that can be purchased along with the mineral makeup, the MaryKay mineral makeup and brush can be purchased for $28.
Bold Lips
Dark deep reds, deep oranges, deep hot pinks are the lip colors for the best Fall makeup looks. Using foundation on the lips before applying lip color really helps to hold the lip color and make the lip color stand out even more.
Strong Eyebrows
Full, dark eyebrows are one of the powerful makeup looks for Fall 2009. The strong eyebrow makeup look can be achieved by coloring in the eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil that is one shade darker than your own eyebrows.

Q: Which is preferable -- cream or powder blush? Don't they create the same result?
A: Actually, your choice will depend upon what effect you want, says makeup pro Bobbi Brown. Powder blush gives a more finished look -- perfect for contouring cheekbones. Bobbi's tips for powder players: Sweep a large brush in circles over the blush, then tap to remove excess. Go up along cheekbones, down nose, and across forehead and chin. Cream blushes create a dewy, outdoorsy flush.
Bobbi's tips for cream queens: Use fingertips to dab it on the apples of your cheeks and blend upward along cheekbones. Also consider skin type when selecting a blush formula. If you have an oily complexion, Bobbi suggests a powder blush to absorb grease for a matte finish. Try Bobbi Brown Essentials Blush, $19, or Cover Girl Cheekers Blush, $2.79. But if skin is dry, opt for a more emollient cream blush to minimize flaking. Try Bobbi Brown Essentials Cream Blush Stick, $25, or Estee Lauder Minute Blush Creme Stick for Cheeks, $27.

Q: What's a fail-proof way to pick the perfect shade of foundation?
A: Selecting an exact skin-tone-matching makeup shade can be tricky. Foundation needs to be sampled in natural light, but most stores have fluorescent bulbs, which distort the color of the foundation, says makeup artist Leslie Lopez, whose celebrity clients include Catherine Zeta-Jones and Cameron Diaz. The trick is to dab on a touch of what seems to be your makeup match at the cosmetics counter, then head outside to check out your reflection in broad daylight. (If you're a drugstore shopper, look for makeup samples in magazines.)
